These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the services we provide, including reservations, accommodations, dining, and activities at our resort. By accessing our website or staying at Mantasaly, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.


1. Reservations & Payments

  • All reservations are subject to availability and written confirmation.
  • To secure a booking, valid payment information or a deposit is required at the time of reservation.
  • Prices are displayed in EUR (default) and may be subject to applicable taxes or service charges.
  • Payments at the resort can be made in EUR or in the local currency (MGA).
  • For on-site card payments, transactions are processed in MGA, and the exchange rate is determined by the issuing bank.
  • Additional charges (e.g., excursions, spa services, or beverages) are not included in room rates unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival may result in the forfeiture of the deposit or applicable cancellation fees.
  • No-shows or early departures will be charged the full amount of the stay.
  • Please refer to your individual booking confirmation or contracted travel agency terms for specific cancellation conditions.

3. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must respect resort property, staff, and other visitors at all times.
  • Any damage caused to property or facilities may be charged to the guest’s account.
  • Illegal activities, disruptive behavior, or violation of local laws will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal without refund.
  • Guests are responsible for supervising children and ensuring their safety during activities and within resort premises.

4. Resort Services & Facilities

  • Access to certain facilities (Velona Spa & Gym, excursions, kitesurfing lessons, etc.) may require prior reservation and/or additional fees.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or temporarily close facilities for maintenance, safety, or operational reasons.
  • Activity schedules (sports, excursions, transfers) may vary due to weather or other external conditions beyond our control.

5. Liability Disclaimer

  • While we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment, guests participate in activities at their own risk.
  • Mantasaly Resort is not liable for accidents, injuries, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, except where liability is required by applicable law.
  • We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, flight cancellations, or technical issues).

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website, including text, images, designs, and logos, is the exclusive property of Mantasaly Resort unless otherwise indicated.
  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

12. Payment Methods & Card Surcharge

  • Online payments (Stripe): Payments made online through our booking engine or secure Stripe link are not subject to additional fees.
  • On-site card payments (local bank terminal): Payments made by credit or debit card at the resort (rooms, restaurant, activities, or other services) incur a 3.8% surcharge, corresponding to the processing fee applied by our local bank. Transactions are processed in MGA, with the exchange rate determined by the issuing bank.
  • Cash payments: Guests may also pay in cash (EUR, USD, or MGA) without surcharge.
  • Bank transfers: Accepted upon request. All transfer fees and intermediary bank charges must be covered by the guest using the instruction OUR (sender pays all fees). If the net amount received is less than the invoiced amount, the outstanding balance remains the responsibility of the guest and must be settled at the resort before departure.
  • Outstanding balances: If any amount remains unpaid after departure, the guest will receive a secure payment link to complete the outstanding payment.
